Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
The preliminary tasks helped me to plan and get a better understanding of how to make a front cover and get a first hand experience with the technology used to make one.
The preliminary task also helped me to improve on my skills with Serif DrawPlus, which helped when it came to making my own magazine. Comparing my Front cover, to the one I created in the preliminary, it sticks closer to the conventions of a professional magazine.
It has also helped me to accept peer feedback, something I was reluctant to do before I started the course. Accepting feedback was a huge progression towards creating a high quality and professional looking magazine, as more people's option is sometimes better than one's own.

Evaluation Question 3 - With words and pictures!
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
Distributors such as Bauer Media might distribute my media product because they are a known world wide with 18 media brand and distribute Kerrang! a magazine with a similar audience to mine, which would be a good way to find and target an audience that would read my magazine. 
Social Media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter may also 'like' and 'tweet' about my magazine! This would build up a fan base on these websites and provide free publicity. 
News Agents and Super Markets may also distribute my magazine to their customers and make money from that. People who are interested in reading about the topics that my magazine covers may see the magazine on display in the shops and buy it. This helps to attract an audience that may just be browsing for a magazine to read or are in the shop/supermarket who may not know about my magazine.

Didn't know how to work that silly website, and when I tried to save my work it asked me to pay. So here's screenshots of each scene. It's better than nothing. Deal with it.
